Photographic Exploration of Gender
Hi. I’m Grant Perkins I am a mature photographic student at the Queensland College.
I am currently doing a project on gender, and am looking for one or two part or full time transgender women to be involved.
Ideally the person would be comfortable being photographed during their daily life. This would entail meeting once a week.
The audience for the project would be those who assess my work and a small number of other students from the College. Your participation would help me develop my skill in communicating the essence of gender diversity to others. I will also be able to offer you quality digital copies of some of the photos I take for you to do with as you please.
If you would like to participate or have any questions please contact me at grant.gwp@gmail.com
Thank you
Grant
Annie’s Recommendation
I have had two meets with Grant so far. He has been very professional, reliable and easy to get along with. It’s been fun being the subject of interest and Grant has already given me some great high quality shots that would have cost me heaps if I had hired a pro photographer. It’s amazing the difference good photography gear in skilled hands makes compared to the shots I take with my little point and shoot camera. I think taking the short time out with Grant once a week is well worth it.

Do you consider that you have transitioned, in that you are now living as your prefered gender, opposite to your birth sex? (e.g. born male, living as a woman) If “yes” and you would like to participate in research intended to inform psychologists in assisting transsexuals and those close to them to achieve more postive outcomes in their lives of choice please visit www.gendereyedentity.net.
Not only could you be contributing towards a better future for all trans, but you can also go into a draw to win a prize for yourself.
